The red sign reads 'Pondok MS Beryani' is located nearby Plaza Angsana shopping complex at Bandar Baru UDA, Johor Bahru. The restaurant is run by the local here and his family, who are from Johor and they specialize in Nasi Beryani and Beryani Gam Johor.
Most famous in Batu Pahat, Nasi Beryani Gam (Beryani Rice) can also be found in many parts of Johor. Here in Johor Bahru got one restaurant that serve the most famous Nasi Beryani Gam can be found in 'Pondok MS Briyani Restaurant', Padi Emas 2 road, Bandar Baru UDA.
During a visit to this restaurant, I ordered their nasi beryani daging (beef biryani Rice). The dish came with a quit large portion of rice, acar ,
pappadom , some chilli and dalca . I been charged for MYR8 and it was the best value for my money. The good news is, the price for Chicken Beryani is also the same.

Lamb Curry
The meat was incredibly soft, tender and tasty, with very little fat. For the non-beef eaters will likely enjoy their N asi Beryani Kambing (Lamb Beryani Rice), which was equally tender, chunky and rich in flavor with just MYR10.

Beryani Rice + Lamb Curry + Pineapple Pickle
The Chef said it has a difference between Nasi Beryani Gam and Ordinary Nasi Beryani. Ordinary Beryani Rice lies in the cooking method like the former is cooked with one's choice of meat dish and the rice is cooked separately from the meat. He added that the Nasi Briyani Gam is serve every day at his restaurant. The signature dish at this restaurant is Lamb Beryani (MYR10) with Asam Boi Drink (MYR2).
It takes approximately three hours to cook the Beryani Gam Rice . The complete set of the Lamb Beryani including Lamb Curry, Cucumber, pineapple pickle and some tasty Papodom (crunchy cracker).
